AdWise (“we”, “us”, or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices when you use the AdWise iOS app and this website.
When AdWise successfully checks the price of a saved product, the product’s identity (a normalized version of its URL), its price, currency, title, and check time are contributed to a shared community database so all users see richer price history. These contributions are anonymous — they are not linked to your account, email, or device identity. A per-product counter of how many users track an item is incremented once per device.
If you choose “Share My Library”, a snapshot of your saved items (titles, product links, prices, bought status), your display name, and your savings total is published so that anyone with your link can view it. Nothing is shared unless you explicitly use this feature. Deleting your account removes the published snapshot immediately.
When you open a product from AdWise, the link may carry an affiliate tag (for example Amazon Associates or eBay Partner Network) and the retailer may pay us a small commission. This never changes the price you pay and never alters the product information we display.
Your data is stored using Google Firebase (Google LLC) with industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. We retain your data while your account is active. Deleting your account from Settings permanently removes your account data, including any published shared library.
We use Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore) and Sign in with Apple. We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We use no advertising or analytics SDKs.
You may access, correct, or delete your data at any time. Account deletion is available directly in the app (Settings → Delete Account). For any privacy request, contact us via the support link on our App Store page.
AdWise is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
This website is a static site served by Firebase Hosting. It sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking scripts, and stores nothing in your browser — which is why you see no cookie banner. Shared-library links (/l/…) run a single first-party script that only redirects you to the app or the App Store. The hosting provider (Google) may keep standard, short-lived server logs (such as IP addresses) for security and operations, as described in Google’s own policies.
We may update this policy; material changes are reflected in the date above.
